Trellis Erecting

Large Trellis Farm Revamp
During the heavy snow fall of the 2017 winter, the weight of the snow was too overbearing for the old trellises which caused them to collapse with a large amount of excessive green growth. The honey suckle and clematis managed to survive. Here for this job I had to remove the old wooden trellis pieces and then put the new ones back up; cutting them to the correct sizes and also drilling them onto the wall. once all the trellises were up I then had to cut all the excessive waste off the creepers and re-tie/train them. The end result was very pleasing.

The previous trellis had been on the wall for over 20 years and was breaking apart, the roses were also in need of being properly tied up. For this job I removed the old trellises and replaced them with more sturdy ones and then pruned the roses before tying them up.
